Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and negotiation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
Youll drive impactful supplier relationships and contribute to the successful execution of global procurement strategies. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (engineering project management and finance) coordinate supplier negotiations and support the development of innovative commodity strategiesand much more.
Well look to you for:
Supporting global supplier panel relationships and managing specific supplier panel relationships including negotiation and local supplier performance monitoring
Monitoring day-to-day supplier performance and addressing initial issues before escalating to line management
Consolidating commodity needs and actively contributing to the development of commodity strategies and supplier panels
Providing inputs to build differentiation and supporting the Commodity Manager during tender phases.
Representing commodities in interactions with projects platforms and solutions
Ensuring effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders to resolve problems collaboratively
Applying Alstoms Procurement processes and sharing return-on-experience insights
Coordinating projects across various mtiers including preparing and launching Requests for Quotation with suppliers
Leading project negotiations and monitoring project evolution including FAI (First Article Inspection) Business Awards and product development
Promoting and adhering to Alstoms Code of Ethics and maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Degree in purchasing engineering project management finance business administration or equivalent
Experience or understanding of procurement project management and supplier relationship management
Knowledge of SAP (preferred) and MS Office
Familiarity with railway industry practices and Alstom products (an asset)
Adaptability and ability to work in a challenging fast-paced environment
Fluency in English (Swedish preferred).
