Your future role:
We are ramping up testing for our XTrapolis 2.0 project! As a result our highly critical testing team is growing and we are looking to add to our team at a time that will allow you the chance to gain an understanding before our testing activities peak. Reporting to the Train Validation Manager the Test Engineer leads the execution and validation of the testing activities for our Rolling Stock fleet based in Newport. Join us on a 12 month fixed term contract.
This role will be site-based at Newport VIC once Newport site is operational for Alstom. It is desirable for the successful candidate to be able to travel 2 days a week to Ballarat for test activities until the first train set arrives at Newport. Night shifts will be common to support dynamic test activities along with alternate location starts as needed depending on the stabling location of test trains.
