Work with the Senior Systems Analyst and Systems Architect to develop configure deploy and maintain a US Government on-premises custom software system for analysis of nuclear weapon effects. The container-based system runs in Kubernetes and is hybrid Linux and Window system.
This position is located in Ft. Belvoir VA.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Configure deploy test and administer the Kubernetes container-based solution in unclassified and classified environments. Troubleshoot system and configuration issues that impact the system performance and reliability. Work with the teams systems administrator to troubleshoot issues beyond normal system operations. Work with the US Governments Information Technology team to deploy Kubernetes container-based system in the on-premises cloud infrastructure. Work with the US Governments Information Technology team to configure the closed networks and firewalls of the virtual machines and Kubernetes containers for internal and external network access to the system.
Required Skills and Experience:
- BS Computer Engineering 8 years experience.
- Must have a TS/SCI clearance
- RedHat Enterprise Linux L1 certification (Linux)
- Windows 2019 Server
- Building and updating container OS images
- Deploying managing and debugging containers in a Kubernetes cluster
- Management and troubleshooting of PostgreSQL and PostGIS databases
- Applying security patches and debugging security policy lockdowns
- Linux shell scripting
- Java programming
Additional Desired Skills
- MS preferred 6 - 10 years experience.
- Experience with ArcGIS Server & ArcGIS Pro
- Experience with NGINX Istio Kafka Keycloak Splunk

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104650.00 - $189175.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
