Job Description

Through Sheppard Pratts school-based therapy services Sheppard Pratt provides mental health services within Baltimore City Public Schools.

What to expect.

We are seeking a licensed or pre-licensed counselor or social worker to provide school-based therapy services in Baltimore City Public Schools. Full-time and part-time options are available. Work hours are consistent with school hours.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical assessments and interventions for students.
  • Conducting individual and group therapy
  • Maintaining data on students served and outcome measures.
  • Working with other Sheppard Pratt program and partner agencies to meet outlined benchmarks.

What we need from you.

  • Must possess or be working towards one of the following licensures at time of hire:
    • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
    • Licensed Certified Social Worker Clinical (LCSW-C)
    • Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
    • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • Reliable transportation valid drivers license and a safe driving record.
  • Experience working with adolescents and families is preferred but not required.

The pay range for this position is $60320 minimum to $87838.40 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to license and years and level of related experience.
