Job Description

REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services Department or their designee

STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW: The Behavioral Health Services (BHS) department seeks current BHS School Psychologists to oversee the organization and distribution of psychoeducational assessment materials to colleagues assigned to nearby school placements. We will need approximately 5 school psychologists to work as needed throughout the 2025-2026 school year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The BHS School Psychologists will be provided with a variety of test kits to keep at their current school placements. They will be responsible for:

  • Respond to colleagues requests for test kits within a timely manner
  • Complete a tri-annual inventory of regional test kits to insure they include necessary materials and protocols (fall winter spring)
  • Keep detailed records of test kits borrowed and returned (paper and electronic)
  • Notify the Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services Department or their designee of missing test kits or other materials within a reasonable time frame.

The stipend will be paid at the hourly rate of $56.81 for up to 10 hours once the responsibilities are completed.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED:

  • Currently working in Boston Public Schools;
  • Appropriate school psychologist licensure.
