About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead coach and mentor the maintenance crew and follow directives of managers and supervisors.
- Assist crews to effectively meet daily safety equipment reliability and maintenance compliance to plan targets for the project.
- The disassembly inspection and assembly of large-scale mobile mining equipment components in accordance with OEM maintenance system documentation & specifications
- Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals technical bulletins and computer-based systems.
- Maintaining the workshop area to a high standard of housekeeping & organisation
- Working within a dedicated team to deliver a high level of workmanship
About you
- Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years mining experience with exposure to leading or supervision of a team
- Valid WA Drivers License
- Sound experience in component rebuilds and machine overhauls
- Must be well organised methodical and have an eye for detail
- A demonstrated commitment to safety safe work practices & risk awareness
