We are seeking a talented individual to join our Transformation team at Mercer. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Change Manager- contract

The Senior Change Manager will be responsible for leading change management and communication efforts for our risk program and partner with senior stakeholders to transform the risk culture and capability at Mercer.

12-month contract

We will count on you to:

  • Develop change management plans implement change management activities and review and revise the change management activities as

  • Develop and consistently apply change management approaches throughout the program.

  • Ensure effective design implement and embedding of change management plans including impact assessments communication and training strategies and delivery and documentation processes for evidence and accountability.

  • Monitor change management progress addressing and adapting as to deliver outcome

  • Conduct thorough change impact assessments to identify potential risks challenges and opportunities associated with Program Elevate. Develop mitigation strategies and action plans.

  • Develop and deliver effective communication plans and training programs to ensure stakeholders are informed and equipped to embrace and adopt Program Elevate. Tailor communication and training materials to different stakeholder groups.

  • Assess Mercers readiness for change and develop strategies to enhance adoption and minimise resistance. Provide guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders throughout the change process.

  • Assess training needs develop appropriate and targeted training strategies and materials to build capability

  • Create manage and execute strategic communications across the program ensuring the needs of all senior stakeholders are met.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders and support Program Director to deliver the uplift in Risk Culture and Capability to meet target state.

What you need to have:

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in professional services organisation or professional customer services

  • Demonstrated experience as a senior change manager leading change management efforts for large-scale transformation programs

  • Demonstrated experience in cultural and organisational change programs

  • Strong knowledge of change management methodologies tools and best practices

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and drive effective decision-making

  • Demonstrated senior stakeholder management capabilities

  • Ability to work effectively across the organisation

  • Self-motivation with initiative energy and drive to succeed

  • Flexible approach thriving on change and innovation balanced by attention to detail risk management and structured thinking

  • Experience working within a regulated industry particularly Superannuation Funds or Banking/Financial institutions

  • Experience on a risk or remediation change transformation program
