Job Summary: The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records performing cycle counts and managing kitting activities to support production and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Cycle Counting: Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
- Kitting: Assemble kits of materials and components for production orders. Ensure all required items are included and accurately labeled.
- Inventory Management: Track and record inventory levels manage stock locations and update inventory systems. Ensure timely and accurate data entry.
- Receiving and Stocking: Receive incoming shipments verify contents against purchase orders and stock items in designated locations.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on inventory items and report any damaged or defective products.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack items for customer orders or internal use. Ensure orders are complete and accurate.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions including receipts shipments and adjustments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production purchasing and shipping departments to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory management cycle counting and kitting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
