The Governing Body of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a Full Time Site Manager with some cleaning responsibilities.
We are looking for someone highly dependable self-motivated enthusiastic and proactive who has a good understanding of health & safety and a range of practical and DIY skills to join our school community.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual eager to make a positive contribution to the aspirational vision for our school.
This post requires an organised and reliable individual who is flexible and able to use their own initiative. The successful candidate will enjoy the challenges and rewards of working in a busy school environment. Training and support will be offered.
The position is to start from 1st September or sooner if possible. However if the successful candidate is available over the summer holidays this would be ideal for a full handover.
Responsibilities will include:
Undertaking regular Health & Safety checks
Responsibility for the security of the site
Maintaining a safe environment for our children staff and visitors
Monitoring grounds maintenance
Basic building maintenance and DIY
Assisting staff when required
Cleaning of allocated areas in line with specified standards
Supervising cleaning staff to ensure high cleaning standards
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 7am - 10am and 2pm - 6.12pm
The above hours are for term time only when working during the school holidays a split shift is not required.
The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in our Catholic ethos and in the wider life of the school.
Closing date: Monday 30th June 2025 at 12 noon.
