LOCATION: MacDill AFB Tampa FL

STATUS: Funded

TRAVEL: 25%

CLEARANCE: TS/SCI

DESCRIPTION: PE is seeking a candidate that directly benefits the Warfighter by supporting the linking of Joint and Multi-Service CBRND Defense requirements to todays dynamic concepts of operation and participates in the support framework for the JRO-CBRND to develop Joint requirements within the CBDP POM. The CBRND Analyst (senior-level) who serves as the Liaison Officer is responsible for independently operating as the JRO CBRND representative at US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Liaison Officers will assist the command element to represent its CBRN defense and CWMD requirements to the Defense-wide Chemical and Biological Defense Program (CBDP) the Joint Staff and the Services. Liaison Officers (LNO) will represent the needs and concerns of the command element to which they are assigned by the JRO.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Oversee the Analyses of Alternatives anddevelop requirements documents in coordination withJS Service and Combatant Command representatives.
  • Attend as required Integrated Concept Team(ICT) meeting with all relevant stakeholders and draft and provide minutes.
  • Beresponsible for developing Joint operational requirements by drafting staffing and adjudicatingrequirements documents prior to entering them into KM/DS.
  • Develop and complete Joint Staff Action Packages (JSAPs) toaccomplish tasks.
  • Provide support as a subject matter expert in relevant field of experience.
  • Provide senior-level briefings.
  • Prepare regular reports on various identified technical issues.
  • Obtains and maintains any security clearances status or licenses required by client to perform work.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Must have knowledge of current USINDOPACOM policies organization processes and doctrine; Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS) JCIDS and JSAP-Next.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Ten (10) to Fifteen (15) years of relevant technical area experience or more.
  • Two (2) years experience on the USSOCOM staff or Joint OSD CCMD and/or a Military Department staff is desired.
  • Minimum of an earned Bachelors degree with a major relevant to the duties of the position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a normal office working environment.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 25%

Candidates for this position should be prepared to travel approximately 25% during a calendar year.
