The Digital Data Manager is a subject matter expert on data that is collected and used in the digitally enabled customer facing ecosystems.
Job Responsibilities:
Works closely with experience design business execution digital analytics and digital technology stakeholders to design specify and perform quality testing for data created in the clients digital customer experiences.
Participant in the software development and experience authoring life cycle of the clientsdigital experiences.
Expert in the technologies used to manage digital customer data for segmentation and for analytics.
Need to understand the first and third party data required to describe the customer and the customers activities across their interactions with the companyfor purposes of segmentation definition to enable contextual marketing and personalization.
Defines data collection activities for projects that create or modify customer facing digital experiences including app and web. This includes analysis of what needs to be measured; definition of new metrics and dimensions including prescribing values for those metrics and dimensions; creation of technical documentation for developers and authors to enable the collection of data; and execution of quality assurance activities to validate that the data is being produced and captured per the design.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Strong writing skills including the ability to write Analytics requirements concisely and clearly for audiences ranging from business stakeholders to technical developers.
Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and be simultaneously customer oriented and process oriented.
Possesses demonstrable analytical skills with ability to identify/analyze/synthesize business needs into business requirements and can then translate those business requirements into technical data collection requirements for developers.
