Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for supporting financial planning budgeting forecasting and operational analysis to drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen experience in a manufacturing setting and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. This is a newly created position so we are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable navigating ambiguity to develop best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and improve financial models to support monthly forecasting annual budgeting and long-term planning.
- Partner with operations supply chain and plant management to analyze manufacturing costs variances and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports including variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership.
- Monitor and evaluate capital expenditure projects and ROI analysis.
- Support inventory management and cost accounting processes in collaboration with the accounting and operations teams.
- Lead ad hoc financial analysis to support pricing product margins and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field (MBA or CPA/CMA preferred).
- 7 years of financial analysis experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting standard costing and inventory management.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across departments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
