Thermacell currently employs 125 full time employees at our 3 locations: Bedford Massachusetts (Corporate HQ) Buford Georgia (Manufacturing & Distribution) and Hampton Florida (Science & Research Center).

ROLE PURPOSE:

Thermacell is currently seeking a highly capable Warehouse Shipping Clerk with high attention to detail. The person in this role will be responsible for package receiving and shipping within the Distribution Center. This role will also ensure all items are recorded accurately and efficiently. This role will report to the Warehouse Floor Supervisor.

STATUS: Non-Exempt

WORKING HOURS: Typically between 7:00am 3:30pm M-F (extended hours as needed during busy season)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generates waves (pick tickets) for picking & ensures posted for pickers as soon as possible
• Ensures customer shipping compliance is met. Updates SOPs when requirements change
• Books & generates accurate BOLs for shipments both within internal TMS (Transportation Management System) as well as routes in various customer portals for collect customers
• Create UCC labels and print through SPS Commerce or other portals
• QCs orders after picking completed for picking accuracy
• Physically preps shipments with placards/carrier pro #s/BOLs etc.
• Physically wraps pallets & UCC label orders when needed
• Maintain a clean safe and organized warehouse/office environment
• Communicates effectively and maintains positive relationships with carriers
• Sends advance shipment notices (ASNs) to Amazon Vendor Central Menards Portal and SPS Commerce
• Generates small parcel shipment labels within customer compliance (FedEx and UPS Orders)
• Within NetSuite quickship orders after carrier pickups
• Can use RF scan gun
• Maintain a high level of knowledge in NetSuite
• Works with internal & external seasonal workers to ensure team knows UCC placement requirements as well as any other prep work needed on shipments to maintain compliance
• Cross-trains team members
• Comply with internal polices and industry regulations
• Other duties as assigned

COMPENSATION

Compensation for this position will include a competitive base salary and a Quarterly and Annual Target Bonus - details provided separately. Benefits for this position will consist of vacation benefits at a competitive level along with 9 paid holidays 2 Floating Holidays and a day off for your Birthday! Additionally a company shutdown period is offered for one week between Christmas and New Years Day.

You may start contributing to our 401k after completing 30 days of service (enrolling on the first of the following month). You will be eligible for the employer match up to 4% (base salary overtime wages - subject to the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) legal limit) after completing one year of service.

• 1-2 years experience in warehousing and shipping/receiving clerk
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
