$31721 - $38700; commensurate with experience
Job Summary/Basic Function
The work order system is a critical resource in the Facilities Services Department (FSD). This office processes work requests for maintenance activities from individuals all across campus and assists in evaluating the effectiveness of the maintenance activities. The processing involves: Communicating with customers both orally and electronically via email; assessing work requests; assigning work orders to various maintenance work units; tracking maintenance activities and progress; inputting and tracking labor materials and contractor cost; reporting to FSD management on issues of productivity and billing.
Required Education
High School diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) required.
Required Related Experience
One year of progressively responsible secretarial clerical and/or data entry office work required.
Desirable Related Experience
- Prior experience in maintenance and construction field preferred.
- Experience in office work involving bookkeeping and accounting principles preferred.
