About the role
Deliver high-quality patient care through the safe and effective performance of nuclear medicine procedures and therapeutic treatments including dose preparation administration and post-treatment monitoring in accordance with EPA Radiation License requirements.
Support and contribute to clinical trials and research by participating in multidisciplinary evidence-based practices that drive service improvement and professional development.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships across St Vincents Health Australia local health networks universities and other key stakeholders to ensure coordinated and collaborative service delivery.
Ensure compliance with all SVHS SVHA and NSW Health policies including accurate documentation confidentiality of patient records and participation in hospital-wide systems for resource and patient flow management.
Commit to ongoing professional development meeting all mandatory training requirements and actively engaging in succession planning and quality improvement initiatives.
About you
Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with AHPRA and a current NSW EPA radiation licence holding a recognised degree in Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams contributing to positive patient outcomes and organisational goals.
Strong communicator with well-developed interpersonal problem-solving and decision-making skills capable of navigating complex clinical and research environments.
Committed to continuous professional development with active engagement in education training and quality improvement initiatives including mentoring students and participating in in-service programs.
Personally aligned with the Mission and Values of St Vincents Health Australia and Mary Aikenhead Ministries with a proactive approach to workplace safety risk management and patient-centred care.
