You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are a level 2 Trauma Center with focus on Sepsis Stemi Trauma and Stroke care. Our leadership model is patterned after Servant Leadership. We base all actions for patients and staff on two primary goals: To treat everyone with respect and dignity and to treat everyone in a way we would want to be treated. We have self- scheduling and an engaged empowered staff. Our providers are engaged and work collaboratively with our nursing staff. A unique aspect to our Emergency Department is the support provided by Administration Nursing throughout the hospital and all ancillary services.
This Magnet-designated facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients and is one of four recipients of the Truven Health Advantage Award in the category of Health and Clinical Outcomes. It is home to nine university affiliated residency programs. Here you will find a Level II trauma center that is a nationally recognized heart vascular and pulmonary specialties along with other specialties like orthopedics neurosurgery and womens health.
Works under the direction of the department/unit leader. Performs the essential responsibilities of the position as outlined below. Stocks supply rooms and/or patient rooms. Stocks and organizes the supplies of department carts or unit drawer. Cleans stretchers and/or equipment including assisting with various light cleaning duties. Performs miscellaneous clerical work. This could include but is not limited to making copies filing preparing folders/brochures etc. Transports equipment/supplies to other areas of the facility as needed. May assist with transporting patients. May assist with registration and discharging of patients. Maintains professional conduct/upholding rules concerning patient confidentiality and patient privacy. Demonstrates the delivery of excellent customer service behaviors in every aspect of the job.
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent.
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross.
Preferred
Student co-op hospital volunteer or other healthcare related experience.
