We are seeking a team player to join our team as an Entry Level Shipping & Receiving Clerk!

This is an onsite role in Wendell NC!

Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision the Shipping/Receiving Clerk will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Lift unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices maintains record of received goods. Receives internal PO s requested via email.
  • Transfer material into storage locations.
  • Pick and deliver Accessory work orders and raw material stock requisitions to various departments.
  • Operates hand and powered material handling equipment.
  • Load unload delivers materials chemicals and other products including 55 gallon drums. Stacks stores chemicals in chemical shed and maintains rotation of drums to ensure first in first out stock.
  • Pick/pack prepare hazardous & nonhazardous domestic & international customer orders for final shipment to the customer.
  • Cycle counting and physical inventory.
  • Prepare Hazmat documentation.
  • Coordinates with freight-forwarders/carrier activities

Requirements :

High school diploma or GED

1-3 years warehouse experience

Brings a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Thrives in a team environment

Stong written and verbal communication skills

Can stand lift up to 50 pounds and navigate the warehouse with ease

Experience with domestic/international shipping
