Overview
The POS Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of point-of-sale systems through rigorous testing and evaluation. Key Responsibilities
- Testing various POS transactions and Back Office Solutions (BOS)
- Physical card testing on terminals Magstripe EMV and Contactless
- Validate end-to-end EMV/Chip card transaction flows and logs
- Execute certification/acquirer/accreditation testing for B2B & B2C card payment systems
- Ensure compliance with PA-DSS and EMV certification standards
- Manage test cases using tools like ALM/HPQC
- Use defect management and test management tools effectively
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end test activities
