Job Description

Overview
The position of MD or Fellowship-trained Pediatrician in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Hisar Haryana is vital for ensuring the highest standard of care for critically ill newborns. This role involves the management and treatment of premature infants those with congenital disorders and other serious health issues. As part of a dedicated medical team the Pediatrician will contribute to life-saving interventions development of care protocols and collaboration with families to provide emotional support during challenging times. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills a commitment to ongoing education and the ability to work in a fast-paced pressure-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of neonatal patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor vital signs and clinical indicators consistently.
  • Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic care.
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with advancements in neonatal medicine.
  • Educate and provide mentorship to junior medical staff.
  • Manage medical emergencies promptly and effectively.
  • Document patient care accurately in medical records.
  • Participate in case reviews and clinical discussions.
  • Advocate for pediatric patients and their families.
  • Engage in research and clinical trials as needed.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for families.
Required Qualifications
  • MD in Pediatrics or equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of Fellowship in Neonatology preferred.
  • Current medical license to practice in India.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in the use of medical technologies and equipment.
  • Commitment to professional development and education.
  • Experience in a NICU setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
  • Understanding of ethical issues in neonatal care.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Proficiency in both Hindi and English.
