Job Summary:
The Performance and Monitoring Service Manager Young Community Languages will play a pivotal role in leading and managing initiatives focused on the enhancement of community language provision (e.g. Bengali Chinese Somali).
The postholder will be responsible for delivering high-quality performance monitoring data intelligence and continuous improvement strategies.
This includes managing tutors overseeing curriculum standards and collaborating with a wide network of stakeholders to drive equitable and impactful outcomes.
Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample):
Provide expert advice and strategic input to the Interim Head of Service for Young Community Languages.
Lead on the recruitment management and professional development of community language tutors.
Oversee the design implementation and evaluation of curriculum and standards for community language teaching.
Develop and deliver robust performance monitoring frameworks and data reporting mechanisms.
Produce clear and comprehensive business intelligence to support strategic planning and improvement initiatives.
Manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders to achieve defined milestones on time and within allocated resources.
Create regular progress reports for senior leadership and escalate key business risks where necessary.
Drive innovation and service transformation through evidence-based solutions and collaborative approaches.
Build and maintain strong partnerships internally and externally to support the development of language education.
Champion inclusion and equality tackling disparities in access and outcomes across community language cohorts.
