As a member of the Storage Infrastructure Reliability Engineering Team this position will support certify and document storage and backup infrastructure as well as serve as a Level 1/2 escalation point for existing infrastructure. This position is expected to interact with Systems Database Engineering Asset Management Product Development Operations Audit and Risk and various groups within Technology. This role must have strong communication and analytical skills. Operate in complex highly-secure highly-available operations-centric datacenter environments and interact with other technology domain experts as required to build and maintain the Open Systems Storage and Backups solutions in those datacenter environments. Understand and work with SuperPOD high-performance technologies as well as other disciplines to develop Infrastructure Building Blocks-based Reference Architectures and standards that can be offered as services to our customers. This position requires a dynamic hard-working and ambitious individual with excellent oral and written communication skills
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree OR 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience
Strong understanding to automate infrastructure tasks
Experience designing deploying and supporting SuperPOD environments Open Systems Enterprise SAN and NAS solutions
Experience installing configuring supporting and maintaining Enterprise Backup solutions comprising disk-based VTLs
Experience with disaster recovery as it relates to storage systems and data recovery techniques including disk replication snapshots and disaster recovery best practices
Superb communication skills with ability to communicate with management & technical authorities
Ability to multitask and prioritize work
Strong analytical and practical analytical skills
Monitoring Tuning Troubleshooting and RCA
Maintains expertise across multiple infrastructure domains
Strong organization and analysis skills
Validated focus on quality and customer service
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 79900.00 to 113000.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
