Job Description

Were currently looking to hire an Interest and Claims Specialist to join L&G Asset Management.

As Interest and Claims specialist youll complete all Interest Claim and Overdraft duties including CSDR penalty fees and delivering work of high quality and accuracy daily. Provide support to the wider team by ensuring queries are dealt with in a timely manner

What youll be doing:

  • Completing Overdraft and Interest Claim tasks on a daily basis and monitoring of overdrafts related charges and interest claims issued by custodians and brokers; investigation of root cause; proactive management to ensure timely resolution
  • Monitoring of CSDR Penalty Fees in relation to failed trades to establish route cause & liability
  • Maintenance of an interest claims database ensuring accurate records are kept and commentary is updated at all times.
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant guidelines and regulations e.g. ISITC CSDR CASS.
  • Production of MI and other relevant reporting
  • Manage tasks from beginning to end investigating and resolving any problems and reporting any inconsistencies as appropriate
  • Review processes to identify potential improvements ensuring a controlled environment and reduction of errors
  • End to end understanding of teams tasks and how they relate to and impact all processes ensuring standard ways of working are applied consistently
  • Working collaboratively within the team ensure the teams goals are achieved daily adhering to strict deadlines and delivering work to the highest standard. Youll demonste flexibility and adaptability delivering excellent client service. Providing cover for other team members in relation Reconciliation

  • Understanding of relevant guidelines and regulations
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written with strong analytical skills
