Job Description

Chelmsford Public Schools - Announcement of Vacancy for the 2025- 2026 School YearThe Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The district reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes enrollment or : ABA Paraprofessional Location: Parker Middle SchoolDescription: The successful candidate will work with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Interest in working with students with exceptionalities is required and work with an Applied Behavior Analysis approach is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Position involves working 1:1 and/or with small groups of students in a sub-separate special education classroom and/or within the inclusion general education setting. QUALIFICATIONS:Must be ABA trained (Applied Behavior Analysis) or be willing to be and understanding of ASD of school classroom procedure including preparation and maintenance of of special education aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities at the identified school level: elementary middle or high working with age-appropriate students in a school students academically emotionally behaviorally socially in the school settingAssist students with toileting as to follow directions and implement accommodations and modifications as directed by teachers and related service to collect data to consistently implement procedures of a behavior support alternatives to the above qualifications as may be found appropriate and acceptable by the principal special education coordinator and Director of Student Services.
