Job Description:
St. Margaret School isa PreK8 Catholic elementary school located in Narberth PA committed to academic excellence and faith-based education is seeking a dedicated and compassionateLearning Support Coordinatorto join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This educator will provide guidance to a team of support personnel that will work with students identified as having learning differences or who may need additional support in Math or Reading.
The Learning Support Teacher plays a critical role in helping students achieve academic success through specialized instruction collaboration with classroom teachers and ongoing communication with families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized small group instruction in reading and math to K8 students in a resource room setting.
Assess monitor and track individual student progress using data-driven methods.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to support differentiated instruction and adapt curriculum for students with learning differences.
Maintain regular communication with families regarding student progress strategies for support and academic goals.
Participate in student support team meetings and contribute to intervention planning.
Uphold the mission and values of Catholic education in both professional conduct and instructional practice.
Qualifications:
Preferred:
- Pennsylvania Instruction Certification
- Pennsylvania K8 Special Education Certification
- Experience working with students who have learning differences or IEPs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty administration and parents
- Commitment to fostering a positive faith-filled learning environment
