JOB SUMMARY:
Meeting or exceeding sales and marketing objectives for the Facial Aesthetics Business Unit. This will be achieved through:
- Fostering creativity and a desire to exceed client expectations through our products our people and our service offering.
- Work with cross functional teams in developing and implementing marketing plans.
- Communicating core messages to sales organization.
- Ensuring that the sales team has the information and the tools they require to be competent & confident in their roles.
- Leveraging scientific support and medical resources from the region and international team to grow the FA business.
- Budget planning and monitoring to ensure accurate financial forecasts and expenses allocations.
- Supply and demand planning monitoring and working with cross functioning to ensure forecast accuracy.
- Drive the overall objectives of the business unit in addition to individual objectives.
- Pro-actively identify opportunities and support FA business through collaborations and partnerships with customers to grow AA business
- Perform special projects on a needed basis.
Marketing and Product Management
- Developing strategic marketing plans for Allergan Aesthetics product ranges. Contributing to the setting of annual sales targets. Measuring and updating plans to ensure results are on or above set annual budgets.
- Developing and implementing innovative tactical programs to support Product Specialists/Sales Force activities and drive brand performance. This will include planning and leading the execution of events or partnerships with clinics e.g. society congresses local events tactical programs etc.
- Contributing to regular business units meeting in a manner that facilitates ideas results act fast and building bridges consistent with our AbbVie culture that will build AA success.
- Providing on-going report that helps Executive Management team reflect on the FA business. These covers: Key Issues Opportunities Competitive Activity short-term projects and where appropriate progress versus agreed milestones.
- Working with cross functional teams (i.e. legal compliance regulatory medical affairs AMI supply chain procurement and finance team) in carrying out activities and adhering to compliance and local regulation.
- Selecting managing and working with external agencies (e.g. medical agencies event agencies printing agencies societies etc) as part of marketing execution. This may involve the development KPIs for the agencies which are to include meetings post event satisfaction timeliness of deliverables actuals versus budgets monitoring etc.
- Working closely with procurement department in vendor selection and creation; adhering to AbbVies system & compliance requirements; providing all necessary documentations from quotation to invoicing.
- Overall management of roadshows throughout the year and regional & international meetings in consultation with regional or international colleagues when necessary & managing AA speakers/ workshops at various meetings throughout the year.
- Supporting Allergans Quality Management System compliance related requirements and internal auditing processes.
Budget Management (including supply & demand plan)
- Managing the FA Annual budget with documentations.
- Ensuring expenditure is accurate against forecast. Ensuring this is a >95% accurate versus quarterly goals set within Allergan Aesthetics.
- Forecasting inventory accuracy requirements with Sales rep(s) training department and assisting the logistics team with inventory control to maintain accuracy of products forecasts and requirements.
- Stocks ordering shipment monitoring & managing short expiry stocks including indent proposal liaising with distributor in stocks management and other related supply/demand operational issues.
Team Management & Sales Force Execution
- Coordinating with Sales rep(s) to create a positive team environment through the demonstration of strong leadership behaviors and AbbVie culture including communicating deliverables of each products portfolios.
- Designing and implementing achievable and strategically aligned goals that support the strategic direction of products and product portfolio. Coordinate with Sales Managers to ensure that marketing plan of each product is communicated and executed with sales team.
- Monitor the progress of these goals and provide source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Make periodic calls with sales team to get firsthand information on trends and conditions in the market/industry and to aid sales teams in their sales efforts.
- Develop cycle priorities key messages & provide training to sales team on how to use marketing material every month to guide team in execution.
- Play a supportive role in improving sales effectiveness of the FA team.
- Facilitate development and implementation of a field force training strategy together with sales and marketing lead.
- Ensure improvement of sales force in both product knowledge and selling skills in conjunction with Sales Force Effectiveness and Training Managers/BE.
Qualifications :
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Science /Health Sciences MBA degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry and minimum 3 years experience in product management function.
- Any regional experience in Product Management/ Brand Management in Medical Device or Pharma industry is desirable.
- Good understanding and prior track record of developing KOL relationships.
