Job Description
Full -Time Probationary Humanities French Immersion Teacher
Crescent Heights High School
Start for the 2025-2026 school year
An opportunity exists for a dynamic caring and dedicated educator in the role of French Immersion teaching humanities. This educator will value:a strong focus on continual learning improvement and growth Middle School and High School Redesign philosophy/practice and will also be a positive team player who is collaborative. A student-centered paradigm knowledge of the Collaborative Response Model and a passion for excellence are traits this educator will need to demonstrate. A commitment to extra-curricular activities/coaching would be an asset. The successful candidate must be aligned with the values and vision ofCHHS and Medicine Hat Public School Division. Position to start as soon as possible.
Other desired attributes include:
- Bilingual - ability to function communicate and teach fully in both English and French
- High School and/or Middle School experience would be an asset
- Instruction in French Language Arts would be an asset
- Knowledge of outcomes-informed assessment
- Passion for the enhancement of the French language and culture within and outside the school community
Crescent Heights High School has a student population of approximately 1300 students in Grades 7-12 and is located in the North Central area of the city. The CHHS learning community benefits from offering French Immersion and Middle School programming among many other student opportunities.
