Canvas goal is to create the worlds most trusted platform which makes security a top priority. The Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) team plays a critical role in safeguarding Canvas systems data and the information our users entrust to us. The DFIR team supports Detection & Responses mission to prevent detect and respond to cyber attacks against Canva Canvanauts and Canva users. We engage in both proactive and reactive activities to prevent detect and respond to security threats.
We are seeking an experienced incident responder to join the DFIR team. In addition to the technical aspects of the role you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our DFIR team providing technical investigation and incident coordination experience and contributing to a culture where we work with empathy humility and generosity. As a Senior Security Engineer you will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry driving initiatives that enhance Canvas security posture and the Incident Response teams capabilities.
The Security Group under which Detection & Response sits is responsible for protecting Canva systems and data from information security threats. Our teams work together and with other groups to deliver preventative and detective controls and processes that reduce security risk across the business. The group runs programmes across Internal Corporate Security Identity and Access Management Application Security Risk Management Threat Intelligence Red Team and Threat Detection and Response domains.
