RLM Underground is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Locate Technician to join our team in Phoenix. This hands-on role is essential to supporting our construction crews by accurately identifying and marking sewer lines in residential areas. If youre comfortable working outdoors in challenging conditions and enjoy problem-solving in the field wed love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make direct contact with homeowners to explain the need for sewer system access
- Locate sewer cleanouts rod them with locatable wire and mark the sewer line within the right-of-way
- Maintain clear communication with Construction Management teams impacted by the project
- Work independently in the field often 6 days a week 812 hours per day
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of locate tasks to support fast-paced construction timelines

- All necessary equipment (locator rodder etc.)

Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret construction prints
- Physically capable of standing lifting squatting and kneeling for extended periods
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments including heat and dirt
