Job Description
Annual Compensation Range: $110000-$140000
Biocoatis committed to providing the best in developing manufacturing and applying coatings on medical devices. We are looking for a Senior Production Manager for our medical device coatings cleanroom.
The Senior Production Manager role requires an associate who is willing to support the production process and coatings team to ensure a high-quality product while meeting customer deadlines. The ideal candidate will have the desire to improve processes and work cross-functionally collaborating with a variety of departments to meet the goals of the company.
What are the responsibilities of a Senior Production Manager
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage coach and develop a team of employees.
- Plan and organize production schedules and oversee the production processes
- Assess project resource requirements and revise as necessary
- Estimate negotiate and agree to timelines with internal key customers
- Ensure that health safety and quality control standards are met
- Organize the calibration repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
- Liaise with Buyers Marketing Business Development and Applications Development to build customer relationships
- Oversee and organize relevant training and cross training sessions for team
- Monitor raw component consumable material inventories and production inventories
- Prepare standard operating procedures or specifications when necessary
- Interface with customers suppliers auditors and agencies when necessary
- Manage Continuous Improvement Program using various Lean 6S techniques
- Manage the writing and follow-up of CAPAs
- Ensure manufacturing performance volume and quality goals are met
- Provide manufacturing expertise in development of new CSBU sites and for accepting new product assignments.
- Work closely with product engineering to design and develop machinery the highest level of quality/value.
- Associates degree acceptable Bachelors degree preferred in business administration industrial engineering mechanical engineering supply chain or a related field to either field of study.
- Experience planning scheduling and managing a production area.
- 3-5 years of experience managing and developing people.
- Lean 6S Green or 6S Black Belt Certification
- Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience a plus
- Ability to lead a diverse manufacturing team.
- Strong organizational and managerial skills
- 1 years of Project Management experience
Office environment with occasional manufacturing and warehouse area exposure. Physical requirements are those that could be reasonably anticipated given the job duties and work environment. Travel limited to 5% between office locations and occasional in-country business travel.
