Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Critical Thinking The student worker will enhance their critical thinking capabilities by solving various research problems and analyzing data along with a faculty member. Communication - The student worker will enhance their communication skill s through presentations and report writing as part of the duties of the position. Teamwork - The student worker is a member of a team and will work and interact with other students and faculty in a positive and productive manner as they provide lab and research support. The position of Environmental Researcher will provide laboratory and research support to faculty within the environmental science & engineering department. Specific projects include: 1) Microplastics removal from industrial wastewater using sustainable materials.
Physical Demands
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
Full-time graduate student majoring in environmental science environmental engineering or students who took college level chemistry courses. Ability to multitask and work independently. Good organizational skills and reliability. Good academic standing at the university
