Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Quality Director located in Austin Tx
The Quality Director role involves guiding the quality function within Flex with overall control for delivering a world-class Quality Management System to the business and ensuring consistent compliant best practices in key processes are applied across our organization. The position requires extensive interaction and strong liaison activities with internal management teams as well as externally with customers and regulatory agencies.
What a typical day looks like:
- Surveys and evaluates future and current vendors
- Prepares and implements QA Policies and Procedures
- Reviews discrepancy reports and implements corrective actions
- Reports progress to customers as required. Maintains contact with customers to ensure their business needs are met or exceeded
- Conducts presentations to staff as required
- Establishes QA aims and creates plan of action
- Discuss with top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies
- operating procedures and goals
- Evaluates content of reports from product assurance program department heads and confers with top
- management in formulating fiscal budget for product assurance program
- Confers with engineering about quality assurance of new products designed and manufactured
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience and training
- 8 years of management experience
- Experience in medical manufacturing required (ISOor FDA experience)
- Must have knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and applicable regulations
- Demonstrated skills in project management and ability to train others to conduct projects
- Masters or MBA degree is prefer
- New product development experience prefer
