We are looking for a strategic and experienced Snr Treasury Manager to lead our treasury operations and cash management functions. This role involves direct people management and close collaboration with cross-functional teams ensuring optimal liquidity risk management and internal control processes. You will manage a small team and help scale treasury operations to support global growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Management
Lead a team of treasury analysts and specialists providing mentorship performance feedback and career development.
Work alongside other functions to share / gain managerial best practices
Ensure all People related matters are managed in line with Vitesse policy
Client Liquidity Management
Oversee daily liquidity and funding operations across multiple currencies banks and legal entities.
Authorise internal and external fund transfers to support business operations and payout demand
Develop maintain and enhance short- and long-term cash forecasting models.
Banking & Reconciliations
Report on and manage risk associated with any open reconciliation items
Oversee all banking operations including account structures access and support banking relationships alongside Vitesse Banking
Treasury Operations
Oversee the execution of FX trades cash placement and inter-entity cash movements.
Report on and validate FX positions across the Vitesse network ensuring all remain within tolerance
Collaborate with Operations peers to ensure seamless funding in place across the Vitesse network.
Team adherence to cash and FX tolerances across network.
Optimise interest income and ensure appropriate usage of cash pools and structures.
Manage the processes which support client Trust models.
Deliver Treasury systems and processes automation leading or feeding in to any related projects.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory and internal treasury controls and policies.
Lead process and control documentation including any ad hoc reporting types.
Provide insight on Treasury performance and reporting for internal stakeholders including VP / Executive levels.
This role would suit someone with management experience from treasury or cash management financial services. The candidate must be able to operate independently and comfortable with managing risk. Experience with scaling and establishing treasury functions within a fintech or payments processor would be advantageous.
5 years of treasury or finance experience with at least 2 years in a management role.
Strong understanding of global cash management banking products and treasury systems.
Must have experience with working in regulated roles ideally gained from an EMI or CASS background.
A solid understanding of vanilla FX products
Experience working with senior leadership across different functions including Product and Technology.
Adept working with cash management systems.
Adaptable collaborative and capable of working independently or within a wider team.
Confident in chairing cross-functional meetings and influencing senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead incident management and escalate appropriately while driving long-term resolution.
Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage people and projects.
Preferred Background
Prior experience in a fintech or global payments company.
Experience scaling treasury functions in a high-growth environment
