Senior Experience Designer (Contract) 6 Months Immediate Start Melbourne
Merkle a leader in data-driven customer experience is seeking aSenior Experience Designerto join our team on a6-month contract. Youll help shape meaningful digital experiences for top brands working alongside a collaborative team of designers strategists analysts and developers.
What Youll Do:
- Lead the design of engaging user-centered digital experiences
- Translate research into actionable insights and design rationale
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Facilitate workshops and present design concepts to stakeholders
- Continuously explore new tools and design methods
What You Bring:
- 6 years of experience in UX/UI or experience design
- Strong skills in Figma Adobe XD and prototyping tools
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage stakeholders
- Experience with Agile Lean and Design Sprint methodologies
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
More about the role:
- Understands product specifications and identifies user touchpoints/ interactions through the various journeys
- Conducts remote and on-site usability testing with real users to ensure the end-product design provides users with the optimum experience in terms of efficiency effectiveness and engagement
- Develops wireframes and task flows based on user needs
- Works collaboratively with other designers product design and development teams business analysts engineers and project managers to create intuitive user-friendly software
- Creates and iterates core UX design deliverables
- Keeps abreast of competitor products and industry trends
