The pay for this role is $25.00/hour. This is a full time position that operates Tuesday-Saturday.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the overall care and maintenance activities of the grow rooms. Supports and adheres to companys Standards of Conduct & Discipline.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of this job.
  1. Supervises trains tasks and motivates crew members and leads team which includes:
    1. Notifies employees of any policy changes.
    2. Coaches employees to improve skills
    3. Performs quality control checks.
    4. Analyzes business needs and decides on shift/department labor shortened shifts or over time.
    5. Delegates and assigns tasks to meet business needs.
    6. Documents reports and delivers disciplinary issues to allow accurate and timely documentation.
  2. Monitors building and crew safety in partnership with security.
  3. Oversees recruitment and disciplinary actions.
  4. Partners with Director to recommend promotions reclassifications and terminations of department staff.
  5. Completes and performs grow team performance reviews in collaboration with assistant managers and leads.
  6. Collaborates with director assistant managers and leads to manage daily hour requirement and overtime needs
  7. Ensures overall health and appearance of mother room plants.
  8. Works directly with the Propagation manager to determine the pruning and mother replacement timing.
  9. Works with the Propagation manager with managing a team of plant technician leads and crew
  10. Ensures works area and all equipment is clean and organized.
  11. Receives communications for upcoming and daily operations; utilizes online spreadsheets and email communication with other team leads and management.
  12. Maintains communication with managers and other leadership.
  13. Communicates personnel notes and partners with management on personnel management including: recommending performance/disciplinary actions schedule changes and/or position changes.
  14. Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned.
  15. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
Job Qualifications
To perform this job successfully an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required to perform this job.
  • Must be 21 years old or older

Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully an individual must have:
  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Word and Excel.
  • One (1) year Cannabis experience.
  • One (1) years experience in managing a production facility preferred.

Physical Abilities: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to:
  • Regularly sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands pull/push carry up to 10 pounds and grasp.
  • Frequently walk reach and taste or smell.
  • Occasionally climb stoop/crouch crawl carry up to 25 pounds talk or hear.
  • Clearly see 20 feet with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness)

Workplace Environmental Conditions
While performing the essential duties/responsibilities of this job the employee will be:
  • Noise Conditions: exposed during a shift to constant or intermittent moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Injury Exposure: occasionally exposed to workplace hazards or to potential injuries.
  • Atmospheric Exposures: exposed to dusts fumes vapors or mists that could affect the occupational health of the employee.
  • Toxic Chemicals: may be exposed to some toxic or caustic chemicals.
