Job Description

Job Title:Occupational Therapy Teaching AssistantDepartment:Occupational TherapyStudent Employment Type:Graduate Assistant (Hourly)Responsibilities:
  • Support of faculty during summer 2 session (anatomy professional development pediatric development
  • Support post-baccalaureate OTD students in their learning of the content covered in the summer 2 session (e.g. Open labs)
Qualifications:
  • Strong ability to assume professional position of mentorship on behalf of undergraduate and graduate OT students.
  • Desire to actively partake in the teaching/learning process on behalf of student success and/or the pursuit of research and other scholarly endeavors.
  • Strong ability to complete faculty-assigned tasks given distant supervision in a timely manner.
  • BSOT degree with minimum overall GPA of 3.3
Hours of Position:
  • Up to 5hrs per week
  • Three days on campus weekly during summer 2 session between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm as fits with the selected candidates other responsibilities
