Job Description
Position Title: Frontend Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid San Francisco (In-office 3 days/week)
Position Type: Full-Time (Permanent)
Start Timeline: Target hire by end of July
Work Policy: Hybrid (3 days onsite; no relocation assistance)

Compensation: $140000 $180000 base competitive equity
Role Summary
We are hiring a frontend-focused Software Engineer with 48 years of experience to join the core
engineering team building a platform for self-perform contractors across North America. Youll work in
React/ to deliver polished performant features and collaborate directly with founders and early
team members in a product-driven high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and launch new frontend products and user-facing features
- Maintain frontend systems for performance observability and availability
- Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews
- Uphold high engineering quality through thoughtful design and documentation
- Contribute to culture tools and team process improvements
Required Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience as a frontend-focused engineer (not full-stack)
- Expertise in TypeScript React and CSS
- Experience working in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup (Seed or Series A preferred)
- Recent experience in B2B SaaS
- Strong undergraduate degree in Computer Science
- Strong product sensibility and user-centric mindset
- Able to work in-person at the San Francisco office at least 3 days/week
- Excited by early-stage startup dynamics and long-term product ownership
Preferred Qualifications
- Shipped and iterated on long-term product features
- Contributed to product design or UX feedback
- Balanced speed and quality in high-growth teams
- Familiarity with contractor tools construction tech or field ops SaaS
