Job Description
Civil Engineer and Planner
Location: Juno Beach FL
Contract Duration: 12 months
Overview of the Role:
Join a dynamic team in the renewable energy sector as a Civil Engineer and Planner. This role is critical in ensuring the success of major wind component restorations by optimizing civil work preparation and road modifications. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and safety of maintenance operations contributing to a sustainable energy future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support maintenance teams in major wind component restorations (e.g. gearboxes blade replacements).
- Assess and optimize road entries to sites using GIS tools and data platforms.
- Conduct road surveys and design modifications for safe equipment passage.
- Ensure compliance with state county and landowner road agreements.
- Manage civil projects ensuring timely completion of planning and road modifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 3 years of experience in road design and modifications.
- Proficiency in GIS tools .kmz file creation and road-use optimization studies.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
