Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Robbinsdale MN
Shift Type: Varied
Shift Times: Evenings and Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Hours per Pay Period: 72 (Biweekly)
Hourly Rate: $37.94 - $53.99 (based on union scale and years of experience)
Weekend Requirements: Every Weekend
On-Call Requirements: None
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join a high-performing imaging team in Robbinsdale MN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting MRI imaging procedures safely and efficiently working with patients across all age groups in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a union position with excellent pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI imaging exams with precision and safety for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
- Apply critical thinking skills to assess situations and respond to emergent issues appropriately.
- Maintain and safeguard accurate patient medical records and ensure confidentiality.
- Utilize hospital and imaging computer systems effectively and accurately.
- Interact professionally with physicians team members patients and families.
- Access and manage medications related to imaging procedures as appropriate.
- Participate in skill development training and continual learning based on organizational needs.
- Take on additional duties as required to support the overall success of the department.
Qualifications:
- Registered MRI Technologist or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in imaging protocols and patient safety
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a varied-shift environment
- Comfortable working evenings nights and every weekend
