DescriptionJoin our security team and play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone on CNE properties. As a Lead Security Officer youll be responsible for responding to incidents preventing prohibited items from entering premises coordinating with other departments and maintaining strong relationships with local law enforcement. This position requires a high level of professionalism critical thinking and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
NOTE this job is a safety sensitive position subject to drug testing requirements.A positive drug test will result in a job offer being rescinded or for active employees termination even if they test positive for marijuana and have a valid medical marijuana license.
Responsibilities- Respond to incidents providing CPR and first aid as needed.
- Prevent prohibited items from entering CNE premises.
- Coordinate with other departments to provide security resources.
- Deploy resources to ensure timely response to calls and adequate coverage.
- Coordinate and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Maintain working relationships with local law enforcement and fire/safety departments.
- Maintain detailed written incident reports.
- Review edit and distribute personnel reports.
- Assist in managing key access and generating reports.
- Verify guest age compliance through ID checks.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years of security or law enforcement experience.
- State of Oklahoma CLEET armed security guard license required.
- Cherokee Nation Armed Security Officer license required.
- Working knowledge of firearms and defensive tactics.
- Working knowledge of surveillance video systems.
- Ability to pass CNE security approved custody control and weapons training.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by appropriate gaming authority.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
