Job Description

This job requires IRS MBI clearance we wont be able to consider applicants who do not have this.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days/week onsite in Washington DC anticipated and 2 days/week working from home.


Position Summary:
The IT Project Manager will lead and coordinate complex data pipeline development and management initiatives within a federal agency environment. This role is responsible for managing scope schedules and deliverables to ensure project success in alignment with IRS Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage at least three (3) data pipeline projects similar in size and scope within federal agencies.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate project lifecycle activities including planning execution risk management and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between project stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with OneSDLC Section 508 and IRS-specific protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience managing data pipeline development and management projects.
  • Strong understanding of federal IT project requirements.
  • PMP or Agile certification (preferred).
  • Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
