Were looking for a Hotel Services Assistant to join our supportive team
The Opportunity
We are offering the opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Hotel Services Assistant working across various areas of the hospital as required. Reporting to the Hotel Services Manager this role will require you to
- Maintaining food hygiene a clean working area and safety practices
- Deliver food & beverages to the hospital patients and staff
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness through all areas of the hospital is maintained in line with infection control guidelines
- Work productively in a team whilst independently managing your workload

Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will also be punctual reliable and with a commitment to genuine friendly customer service.
You will also demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a catering or housekeeping role desirable but not essential.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- Compliance with HACCP Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety
- Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
- Strong understanding of infection control procedures
- Availability across a 7-day roster including morning and afternoon shifts

This hospital has 43 beds 3 fully equipped operating theatres a 12 chair Day Procedure Unit and a comfortable day oncology unit. The Hospital is collocated with Caboolture Public Hospital.

Requirements
- Must provide aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
