As part of the Capital Markets division within Truist Securities Inc. the Asset Securitization Group (ASG) provides structured debt capital solutions to clients of Truist Bank across a range of consumer commercial and esoteric asset classes. Within its commercial asset class practice ASG agents and syndicates credit facilities in securitization format backed by pools of middle market corporate loans originated by private credit funds and asset managers. Analysts on the ASG Originations team are actively involved in executing and syndicating MML facilities drafting credit committee screens for new facilities and developing pitch materials for new and existing clients. ASG collaborates with internal partners including Banking Risk Operations and Legal to achieve seamless execution appropriate risk mitigation and strong client experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Develop subject matter expertise and translate knowledge into value added ideas.
2. Lead execution in support of senior originators.
3. Collaborate with internal partners including risk to achieve optimal execution.
4. Support senior originators on deal sourcing and execution
5. Demonstrate the Truist values
6. Adheres to risk/compliance policies and guidelines

Required Qualifications:

1. BA/BS degree

2. Licenses: Series 7 79 and 63
3. Strong technical skills (including financial analysis modeling presentation) and developing subject matter expertise
4. Strong interpersonal skills which foster teamwork trust and accountability
5. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas to facilitate execution

Preferred Qualifications

1 years of experience preferably at an investment bank rating agency or accounting firm
