The Opportunity:

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation & Calibration Technician to join our team. The Technician will calibrate equipment throughout the test cells and manufacturing.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Perform calibrations and adjustments in accordance with approved standard procedures.
  • Provide calibration support setup and troubleshooting on measurement equipment and instruments used in production quality control laboratory and manufacturing environments.
  • Calibrate dimensional mechanical devices across multiple disciplines.
  • Collect compile and measure data to support calibration traceability documentation and certificates.
  • Responsible for creating Instrument Control Numbers (ICNs) and Documenting/filing calibration records in TMS system.
  • Participate in the training and development of other team members

Qualifications:

  • Associates degreeor equivalent experience in instrumentation & electronics
  • Two or more years of work experience directly related to calibration of electrical/mechanical instrumentation or furnaces (Vacuum Furnaces Nitriding Furnaces Carburizing Furnaces etc.)
  • Two or more years of experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair or other related technical discipline.
  • Knowledge of computers and data acquisition systems.
  • Knowledge of AMS-2750 would be preferred.
  • Ability to read a wire/mechanical schematic.
  • Familiar with SAP or similar.
  • Experienced in calibrating several disciplines of test and measurement equipment including but not limited to: torque pressure vacuum temperature weight mass.
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
  • S. citizenship is required.
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
