High Point University is seeking a full time Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator for the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Works (URCW) supports efforts and programming aimed at supporting faculty and student participation in empirical and creative scholarship across all disciplines on campus. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with the director on operations budget strategic planning and assessment of program impact. The Program Coordinator will aid in the management promotion and assessment for the universitys URCW signature programs (Research Rookies Summer Research Programs Grants Registries and High-PURCS) liaison for on-campus and external community partners and assist in program assessments.
- Education: BA/BS preferred
- Skills in project management process management and program design and assessment
- Skills in data management and record keeping
- Knowledge of budgets and internal controls of accounting/reimbursement procedures
- Experience in marketing
- Experience at a university preferred

- Contributing to managing and maintaining the objectives goals and resources for the program by collaborating with the director on operations budget strategic planning and assessment of program impact
- Keeping organized and detailed records of programmatic issues and budgeting issues related to office expenses
- Assist with the management of Research Rookies programing monitoring and assessment
- Assist with the website promoting the three summer research programs and planning and programming of SuRI
- Update and monitor the ForagerOne platform the two URCW registries and four grant databases
- Assist with promotion of URCW via admission events the monthly newsletter and the liaison newsletter
- Liaison with partners across campus
- Assist with methods to track student engagement with undergraduate research and creative works
- Assist in annual and SACS reviews
- Help organize participation in SNCURCS and NCUR
- Managing the bookkeeping of faculty compensation and student awards for travel support and SIRG grants
- Benchmarking with research and creativity program counterparts at peer institutions
- Assessment: compile and report statistical and anecdotal data related to the URCW program
- Marketing the program both within the school and for prospective students
- Help with planning organizing advertising and hosting High-PURCS - HPUs recognition of students finished work
