Description

The Maintenance Controller works in the Return to Service hangar and office. The Maintenance Controller may work on multiple aircraft platforms as priorities and requirements evolve.

General AMO/AOC Responsibility

  • Maintain inspection control boards
  • Maintain & update TASK/DISCREPANCY and other similar document control binders
  • Remove completed task cards daily for review with inspection lead for accuracy as required
  • Review completed tasks for completeness and accuracy of references & parts transactions assist in the correction of inaccurate data as required
  • Responsible for all data transcription into RAMCO from complete and accurate task cards
  • Responsible for uploading all relevant checklists certifications and other docs to RAMCO jobs
  • Responsible for updating task card/tally sheet to ensure accuracy
  • Responsible for final review of the maintenance package with inspection lead at the end of maintenance event.

And:

  • Review and verify the heavy maintenance package and checklists for accurate completion
  • Maintain correspondence with quality assurance planners & leads and carry out corrections of maintenance entries parts transactions and Transport Canada requirements as directed. Provide support where required.
  • Assist ISC with part data corrections in RAMCO
  • Ensure parts are properly transacted to the task completed
  • Perform general administrative or other duties as required by the crew chiefs QA lead or production director

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in the execution and/or management of aircraft maintenance preferred;
  • Experience in the control of maintenance (adherence to schedules direction of activities) preferred
  • Experience in the entry retrieval and management of aircraft maintenance records & maintenance software
  • Highly experienced in the use of automated data retrieval systems and spreadsheets for the management of maintenance activities
  • RAMCO experience a plus
  • Excellent written and oral presentation of aircraft maintenance and configuration information
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines and standard accepted practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including full proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Safety Teamwork Focus Innovation and Integrity
  • Demonstrates strong and visible support of our values

Working Conditions

Standard Maintenance Hangar and Office conditions.

Supervisory Training and Advisory Responsibilities:

This role has an advisory nature with respect to the execution of aircraft maintenance and the interpretation of the maintenance requirements of the aircraft. Responsible to assist in maintaining aircraft and documentation configuration.

Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities:

You will have the following responsibilities in order to comply with the companys Occupational Health and Safety program:

  • Working in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety acts and regulations
  • Following safe work practices and procedures and using safeguards and personal protective equipment
  • Reporting hazards (such as unsafe situations and activities) to their supervisor immediately.
