Job Description

Work Flexibility: Remote or Hybrid or Onsite

As the Sr. Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing projects that collectively contribute to the development of a clinical knee application. In your role you will ensure R&D projects are completed on time/cost & budget. You will support cutting edge medical device products from the inception phase to launch for Strykers Digital Robotics and Enabling Technologies business unit.

you will do

  • Lead the team in developing the project charter and management plan. Direct manage monitor and control a strong business case and evaluate tradeoffs within a project.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop manage and own project scope. Create a detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart. Analyze critical paths major workstreams and intersecting milestones. Own the project schedule.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional managers to define project budgets. Monitor and maintain costs within budget.
  • Partner with the project team to create Quality Plans using 2-3 quality planning tools and techniques. Monitor and maintain plans.
  • Develop a project risk management plan. Identify analyze and understand project risks; develop and monitor a risk response plan.
  • Estimate acquire and assign cross-functional project resources. Define each team members role responsibility and deliverables.
  • Provide direct feedback to the functional manager on performance reviews.
  • Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project based on identifying analyzing and understanding Stakeholder expectations.

What you need

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related discipline (Mechanical Engineering Software Engineering Electrical Engineering Engineering Management)
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience within engineering or manufacturingwith 2 years of Project Management leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Utilization of Agile and rolling-wave or waterfall planning methodology
  • PMP or equivalent preferred

$100500.00 - $215300.00 salary plus bonus eligible benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on pay is based on skills experience and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 20%
