Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and skilled temporary part time (28.5hrs) Grade 7 Family Support Worker to join our Safeguarding Team. This position is to cover maternity from 1st September 2025.
The successful candidate will be a special person who will work alongside our fantastic Safeguarding and Welfare Officer working with a variety of families supported by TAF CiN CP and LAC. We need someone who is able to communicate effectively with children parents carers and other professionals. We would like someone who can run parenting support groups deliver ELSA and has TAF training.

- Other Safeguarding professionals
Experience as a Learning Mentor or Family Support Worker or within a Safeguarding Role is more important than a formal degree qualification for this role.

Our school community places the highest priority on keeping our children safe. Applicants for all posts will be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes. The holder of this post will be required to work with children under the age of 18 in a position of trust and is therefore exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
Please note a clean UK Drivers License is essential.
Working hours: Wednesday Thursday and Friday 8:00-6:00pm term time only including all INSET days.
