You are a qualified Clinical Haematologist committed to delivering exceptional care to patients with both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions. You will play a key role in providing specialist outpatient services across St Vincents Hospital Melbourne and the Wyndham Specialist Care Centre in Werribee supporting our mission of accessible high-quality care.
In this role you will:
Deliver expert outpatient care at SVHM and through outreach clinics at Werribee
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate across departments
Contribute to clinical trials and associated research responsibilities
Engage in teaching and mentoring junior medical staff
Support continuous improvement and quality assurance activities across the department
Classifications for this position will range from HN19 - HN59 ($169.70 p/h - $221.19 p/h)
What Youll Bring
MBBS (or equivalent) and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Haematology
Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
Proven experience managing malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and experience in the conduct of clinical trials
Current National criminal history check

The SVHM Haematology Department provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of malignant and non-malignant blood disorders. The department is actively involved in clinical research clinical trials and teaching and works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred evidence-based care. With strong links to regional health services the team is committed to improving access and outcomes for patients across metropolitan and rural Victoria.
