Your Position:
Join our team as a Shift Leader where youll guide your team to excel in health and safety standards productivity and equipment maintenance at one of our largest distribution centers. Youll oversee a multi-disciplinary team enhancing both technical performance and staff capabilities to ensure smooth operations.
As the go-to person for resolving technical and operational issues youll keep everything running smoothly and communicate effectively with stakeholders. This role is perfect for proactive detail-oriented individuals committed to excellence in service and operational delivery. Youll play a key role in maximising the systems operational output and ensuring we consistently meet our contractual service levels.

Your Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations monitor system performance and address technical challenges.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain high service quality standards and meet customer expectations.
CMMS Reporting oversee accurate reporting and tracking of maintenance activities.
Set and achieve KPIs for operational performance safety and customer satisfaction.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
Use data-driven insights for performance and development decisions.
Support career growth through personalised coaching and development plans.
Encourage reporting of unsafe conditions and suggest improvements.
Keep employees updated on safety practices and track safety incidents.
Ensure the performance and reliability of the automated system and Shift Teams.
Enhance team skills and implement improvements for system efficiency.
Minimize downtime and maintain operational flow using data insights.
Address inquiries promptly and maintain clear communication.
Ensure thorough handovers and conduct root cause analysis for errors.
Enhance problem-solving and innovation through team development.
Promote a culture of ownership responsibility and respect.
Focus on continual learning and professional development.
Use operational data for quality control and recommend improvements.
Engage the team with recognition rewards and growth opportunities.
About You
You are an experienced leader who consistently strives to add value and foster a collaborative team culture. Your dedication to building strong cohesive teams and driving continuous improvement sets you apart as a key contributor to our success.
A degree diploma or certificate in mechanical engineering electrical engineering or a related technical field.
Experience leading technical teams in an automated environment is a plus.
Strong strategic planning skills for site development and enhancing team capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels both in writing and verbally.
Advanced analytical skills to interpret data control system reports and diagnostics for efficient equipment management.
Ability to act as a technical point of contact during escalations and incidents handling requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) is beneficial.
