Job Summary:
We are seeking aHealth Center Administrator-Nursing Operations in ourDuke Cardiology locationsin Morrisville NC Cary NC and in Durham NCto provide overall administrative and clinical direction oversight for policies and procedures and programs of complex multi-disciplinary adult ambulatory clinics/practices.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review current and future staffing needs to ensure budget management
- Manage various personnel actions including hiring orientation performance appraisals promotions and scheduling
- Counsel and conduct formal discipline of clinical staff
- Establish schedules task assignments and allocation of manpower space and equipment
- Manage meetings and follow-up: monthly staff meeting manager operation meetings provider meetings
- Manage invoices for clinic expenditures and reconcile procurement card purchases
- Determine fiscal requirements make projections and prepare the budget
- Monitor verify and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds
- Ensure Joint Commission Infection Control OESO DUHS NCBON AAMA and AMT Guidelines and Regulations are met
- Coordinate and document all required drills
- Identify best practices for performance improvement processes and projects
- Oversight of multi-specialty nursing services delivered
- This role will require floating between and managing multiple clinic locations.
Job Eligibility Requirements:
- Work requires 3 years of related administrative or clinic/practice management experience to acquire competence in applying general operational practices personnel practices accounting and budgeting principles and coordination of clinic administrative functions.
- BSN Required; Masters in Business Heath Care Administration or Master of Science in Nursing preferred
- Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina required.
- 3 years of nursing leadership required.
- Cardiology experience strongly preferred.
- Multi-site leadership experience strongly preferred.
- BLS required
Job Hours:
The schedule for this position is day shifts Monday-Friday with no weekends or holidays.
